The LORD is my Dwelling Place.
In Him I live, move, and have my being.
In Him, I can just be.
The LORD is my Refuge.
When the world is overwhelming, I can run to Him and know I will be received.
When I am pressed beyond measure, I can curl up in His arms and know I am loved.
When the world is noisy, I can sit with Him and know quiet and perspective.
The LORD is my Shield.
When I am attacked, He covers me with His own body, His own blood.
I can bury my face in His chest and know I am protected.
The LORD is my Fortress.
When anxiety, fear, and anger chase me, they can only come so far and no farther.
They know they cannot cross His wall.
The LORD is my Strong Tower.
Even when these enemies surround me,
He reminds me that it's nothing He can't handle...
Because the LORD is my Dwelling Place,
no bad thing can come near me that doesn't have to go through Him first.
He is God.
