The LORD is my Shepherd

The LORD is my Shepherd.

He looks on me with Love.

He makes me feel safe.

No matter the dangers around me,

I do not feel afraid, simply because He is there.

He is strong enough to fight off any enemy,

yet gentle enough to make me feel cherished.

His anger and His power are always turned on the enemy, never on me.

He may use His rod, but only to tap me and point me in the best direction.

He would never, ever hurt me.

He would never abandon me.

He loves me too much, and has invested too much in me, to quit now.

He is unafraid of my mistakes, my fate, or my future.

He already knows where we are going, so I don’t have to know.

He is God.
